GNB Voc-Teach Bears Are Back
Last week, the Girl’s JV & Varsity Basketball Teams traveled to Somerset-Berkley and competed in our school’s first athletic event since February 2020. This was followed by both the Girls and Boys JV & Varsity team competing against Apponequet on Friday, Jan. 8. While the hockey team faced ORR and the Freshmen Boys’ Basketball team played against DR on Saturday, Jan. 9.

While not all the teams ended up on the right-side of the scoreboard, it was great to have our student-athletes back on the court and in the rink and engaged in athletics. GNBVT Athletic Department and student-athletes have always appreciated the support from teachers, staff and the community at our home games. However, with the current focus on providing the safest environment for our student-athletes to compete in, the South Coast Conference has a strict policy of only allowing a max of 2 family members per student-athlete at home events.
