Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech Sanitized for Future Reopening
During the first week of the three week school closure, Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech’s facilities department have been hard at work under the leadership of Zebb Arruda to ensure that the facility is completely cleaned and sanitized for the planned reopening of the school. The custodial staff and the maintenance staff worked together to clean, sanitize, and disinfect every surface in every classroom, shop area, and office in the building. Everything from phones, to desks, walls, counter tops and windows were cleaned to ensure a safe environment for the students when they returned. Safety has always been a priority and the facilities department has been working to ensure it remains a priority. When the building reopens, students can be sure that they are entering a building that is safe for them to continue their school year.
