Dear GNBVT Community,
We’ve officially hit May; and around here, that means one thing… it’s Senior Month.
There’s a different kind of energy in the building right now. Our seniors are stepping into some of the most memorable moments of their high school journey—pep rally, prom, and, of course, graduation. These are the moments they’ve been working toward, and it’s exciting to see it all coming together.
That said, with all the celebrations ahead, I want to keep it real with our seniors for a second, you’ve got to finish strong. Walking across that stage isn’t automatic. It takes making sure everything is in order:
- If you owe time for absences or tardies, connect with the Attendance Office ASAP
- If you’re close in a class, now is the time to push and get those grades up to passing
- Stay in communication with your teachers, be proactive
We want every single senior crossing that stage, and we’re here to help make that happen; but you’ve got to meet us halfway.
I also want to take a moment to shout out and wish good luck to our SkillsUSA competitors as they head to the State Competition at Blackstone Valley Tech from April 30th–May 2nd. These students are representing GNBVT at the highest level, and we couldn’t be more proud. Go out there and do your thing—we’re all rooting for you.
And don’t forget that our Theatre Company is getting ready to take the stage with “Be More Chill.” I’ve seen the work these students have been putting in, and trust me, you’re going to want to be there. Grab your tickets and come support them—you won’t be disappointed.
Let’s keep the momentum going, support each other, and make this a strong finish to the year.
With appreciation,
Principal Williams
