
Students in Media Technology produce, write, record and edit school news segments called VTTV News. An episode is made every trimester by both divisions, 12-1 and 12-2. Media Technology students in division 12-1 also visited Dartmouth Community TV headquarters and filmed two episodes of VTTV News. Students learned how to produce and film a live news broadcast. Sarah Saulnier and Ashley Almeida were the talent for one video while Ryan McCarthy and Bryce Talbot were the anchors for the other. Sauliner was also the post-production editor for the video showcasing the visit to DCTV that was posted to the GNB Voc-Tech Vimeo page.
VTTV DCTV Episode 1 consisted of segments about the Drive 4 UR School After-Prom fundraiser and Janell Vo, a Medical Assisting Senior. Talbot discussed the Urban Artists visit to Visual Design, and the Facilities Construction. Ayslynn Ramirez directed the production, with Michael Barth as Camera Operator, Jenzee Cardoso as Audio Operator, Melanie Galdamez-Vigil as Teleprompter Operator, and Jordan Oliveira as Floor Manager.

In VTTV 12-1 Episode 2, Ryan McCarthy and Bryce Talbot once again were the anchors for the video. Talbot talked about the GNBVT Thanksgiving Bonfire, DCTV & Media Technology, Open House, and the GNBVT Blood Drive. McCarthy spoke about the Urban Artists, Credit for Life, Fashion Design, and Alumni Mark Frey’s speech at the Advisory Meeting. Talbot was also the camera operator and post production editor for the GNBVT Bonfire. Sarah Saulnier was the camera operator for the Credit for Life footage, and Jordan Oliveira was the post production editor. Justin Camara was the camera operator and the post production editor for the Open House footage. Michael Barth was the camera operator and post production editor for the Fashion Design Footage. Michael Barth, Chad Charbonneau, Kelsey Ferreira, Ryan McCarthy, and Jeilanis Melendez were the camera operators for the Blood Drive footage, and MacKenzee Cardoso was the post production editor. Finally, Samatha Masse was the camera operator for Mark Frey’s speech at the Advisory Meeting, and Ryan McCarthy was the post production editor.
In VTTV News 12-2 Trimester 2, Sarah Saulnier was the anchor, in which she discussed the Homecoming Pep Rally, the Reynolds DeWalt Field Trip, GNBVT Blood Drive, Jessica Cziska, a geometry teacher featured in Media Tech’s Faces of GNBVT series, the Walk for Survivor Safety, and the Man in the Red Bandana presentation. Camera Operators for the Pep Rally include: Sabrina Arruda, Nevaeha Fernandez, Madison Hanks, Robyn Holmes, Adriana Payne, Sophia Ponte, and Kylie Rezendes. Brandin Jefferson was the post production editor for this segment. The camera operator for the Reynolds DeWalt segment was Julia Quintin, and Isaiah Trinidad was the post production editor. Chad Charbonneau and Ryan McCarthy served as Camera Operators for the Blood Drive, with Caleb Bettencourt as the post production editor. Dakota Bullock, Camera Costa, Julia Quintin were the Camera Operators for the Faces of GNBVT – Mrs. Cziska segment, with Dakota Bullock as the post production editor. In the Walk for Survivor Safety segment, Abigail Arruda, Ryan McCarthy, Samantha Masse, and Sarah Saulnier were the camera operators, with Sarah Saulnier as the post production editor. Kevin Aviles was the camera operator and the post production editor for the Man in the Red Bandana presentation.
