SAiL (Senior Adventures in Leadership) Conference
The annual SkillsUSA SAiL (Senior Adventures in Leadership) conference, held on February 10, 2022, was focused on training our seniors who will graduate with seemingly limitless opportunities for quality employment. SkillsUSA, as an organization, teaches students to be effective at combining relevant personal, workplace, and technical skills through the SkillsUSA Framework with job-specific skills and rigorous academic standards. During the SAiL Conference, students learn how to leverage these skills. SkillsUSA business partners and program graduates shared timely resources and experiences that support SkillsUSA’s mission, to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible global citizens. Students attended workshops and listened to keynote speakers to prepare for the successful transition from CTE to college and careers, ensuring every SkillsUSA member is “Job-Ready, Day One.” GNB student, Kara Koska, led the SkillsUSA State Officer Team, as President, in kicking off and concluding the event while orchestrating various components throughout the event
