National Nurses Day is observed annually on May 6. This is the first day in a week that is celebrated nationally to recognize the service and commitments of our nurses, and the vital role they play in our society. This week concludes on the birthday of Florence Nightingale which is May 12. Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech would like to thank our all the nurses in our community for their endless commitment and care, including those studying to be in this field, our alumni who are currently in the field, our teachers of this vocation and the professionals working in the school.
From all of the faculty and staff at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech, we encourage our community to reach out to our local nurses and share your gratitude for the adaptability, sacrifice and strength that one needs in this vocation.
