To celebrate Black History Month, Metal Fabrication teachers, Mr. Steve Flowers and Mr. S. Lopes, collaborated on a homework assignment for their students to research and highlight an African American that had a significant impact in the Metal Fabrication trade. History Teacher Mr. Marc Waters reviewed all the research for this assignment, and once approved, the students sketched their own design for a collage to visually demonstrate their gained knowledge. Students produced a detailed photomontage with text and metal accents that highlights these skilled-workers and the powerful influence that they have had in in this field.
