GNBVT honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This is the day to celebrate diversity and to commemorate Dr. King’s, Jr.’s legacy – past, present, and future.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15th, 1929. He was an American Baptist minister and well-known activist during the civil rights movement. He fought for more advanced rights for people of color by leading marches as well as organizing campaigns and protests until his assassination on April 4th, 1968. Even with his passing, his legacy lives on, loved by many and inspiring others.
