Kobey Dias

Meet Kobey Dias, a 16-year-old student in his junior year in the Culinary Arts program at Greater New Bedford Voc Tech. When Kobey graduates from high school, he plans to go to college to obtain a Bachelors Degree. Some of his time will be spent at Bristol Community College, and then he will transfer to UMass Dartmouth to finish his degree. His dream is to move to California to purse a career as a professional dancer. Some of his favorite activities are playing soccer. video games. and dancing. It was a hard decision to choose between soccer and dance. But after a year of doing both, Kobey decided dance was something that he wants to pursue. Five years later, Kobey is a member of the competition team called MovementSpecialists at his dance studio. Kobey’s talent landed him a spot in a music video created by Devon Lewis from Media Technology. Kobey finds inspiration from his dance instructor and other dancers at the studio.
