He serves his community with a number of things including volunteering at Gifts to Give, spending time at nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, as well as paying tribute to our nation’s Veterans on Memorial Day with proper ceremonial flag retirements. Being a proud scout of Troop 24 New Bedford, he is currently preparing his qualifications for Eagle Scout rank, which is a very high honor. During the summers 2016-2017, Jack worked as a merit badge counselor at Cachalot Scout Reservation. In the summer of 2019, he worked as a painter for the Fairhaven Shipyard.

Jack’s free time is spent on focusing on his health and fitness through powerlifting and spending time outdoors. He has currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy in their Nuclear Propulsion Engineering Program. Jack has accomplished many things in his years at GNB Voc-Tech and is a role model to students in every grade, especially those focused on their academic careers such as himself.
