CLASSES START October 21, 2019. This is an adult daytime class from 8:00 to 2:30 Monday through Friday for 90 days going by the school schedule. Students completing the program will be prepared for entry level CNC jobs as well as post-secondary programs and earn a MACWIC Level I and or II certificate.

The Machine Technology/Advanced Manufacturing program provides instruction in: Basic Machining Principles, Advanced Machining Principles, Mastercam CADCAM part design, part posting and downloading to CNC equipment, as well as hand sketching and basic blueprints.
Students are trained to:
- Design tolerances of +/-.003. (3/1000th of an inch)
- Use a variety of precision instruments: micrometers, dial, digital and Vernier calipers, and dial indicators

Prerequisites
- Be present every day and be on time
- Serious, committed and ready for work upon completion of the program – placement assistance is provided
- Basic math, reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- MUST Pass CORI prior to start
- Ages 18+ and high school diploma or equivalent
