Andrew Sullivan, a senior in Engineering and Robotics, shows a passion for his field both in and out of shop. His hard work in academics, shop, and extracurriculars has earned him the MAVA Outstanding Vocational-Technical Student Award, The National Honor Society Semi-Finalist Scholarship Award, and the Abigail Adams Scholarship, all totaling over $3,000 in scholarships for college. Andrew plans on attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the fall, where he will major in either Robotics or Mechanical Engineering.

In school, Andrew is an exemplary student. He ranks top 5 in his senior class, he is a GNB student mentor, and is a member of the National Honor Society, with over 200 community service hours on record.

Despite his busy academic schedule, Andrew still manages to have time for extracurriculars. He is the Captain of FIRST Robotics, team 5846, Co-captain of New England FIRST’s student social media team, an Ambassador for the LGBTQ+ of FIRST, a social media coordinator for The Compass Alliance, as well as a member of the Rainbow STEM Alliance. Andrew will begin an internship with the Naval Undersea Warfare Educational Outreach Division in Newport in the fall.

We congratulate Andrew on all of his hard work, and wish him luck on his future endeavors.
