Bryce Talbot
Meet Bryce Talbot, a senior in the Media Technology program at Greater New Bedford Regional Voc-Tech. Bryce Talbot has had many accomplishments while attending GNBVT, such as: placing in 2nd place in a coding competition at BBC in May 2019, participating in SkillsUSA, being a BEAR award every year. Bryce is a great example of how GNBVT are prepared, passionate, and persevere in any challenging situation. Bryce plans to pursue a degree in animation and feels that his experience in Media Technology has prepared him well for this endeavor. During his freshman year in Media Technology, Bryce learned how to animate using a program called Toonboom, and his proficiency in this program has developed since then. He has also learned how to 3D animate using a program called Lightwave Modeler. Bryce is a phenomenal student , always receiving high grades and great praise from students and teachers alike. One outstanding trait Bryce is known for is his kind personality and humble attitude, making him a great role model and representative for the school. One thing Bryce loves about GNBVT is the friendships and student-teacher relationships he has cultivated throughout his time here. When asked about his experience at GNBVT, Bryce explained, “My high school career has allowed me to open up and become a more confident person in my work and personal life” Bryce’s advice for any incoming freshmen is, “Don’t beat yourself up, make sure you can rely on others and not just yourself, and most importantly stay positive.”
