Admission
Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech accepts freshman students from New Bedford, Fairhaven, and Dartmouth. Admissions occur
from March through August. Students who apply after August will be placed on a seats-available basis.
A candidate for admission should:
Submit a complete application, a current report card or school transcript and other requested
educational records to our Guidance Office or to the Guidance Counselor serving his or her city/town.
On a seats-available basis, ninth grade students will be placed in the exploratory programs of their choice. Upper class applicants will be placed
directly into selected vocational programs depending on their ability and the availability of the program.
